Do you add anything to extend shelf-life in your products?

No, we only use the finest natural ingredients. All of the flour we use is unbleached, additive free, zero stabilizers or dough conditioners.

I placed my order too late but would still like bread & pastries this week, can I come and pick them up from you?

Yes. We do offer a curb side pick-up between the hours of 7 - 10am.

Is it possible to get my sourdough sliced?

Yes, we're able to slice all of our loaves. (Excluding the Ancient Grain Tin) Our slicer is set to 5/8 inch and cannot be adjusted.

I would like to purchase baked goods for someone else. Is that possible?

This is not a problem. All we would need is their name(s), address and message you would like written on the bag.

I suffer from a nut-allergy, am I safe to eat your products?

Unfortunately we do not operate in a nut-free facility. With that said, we practice good hygiene and can ensure that there will be no cross-contamination.

Are your breads vegan friendly?

Yes. Our sourdough is made by using only flour, water & salt. The only loaf that is not vegan friendly is our Ancient Grain Tin loaf.

I received my sourdough this morning, how long are they good for?

Our sourdough has a shelf-life between 3 - 5 days. Depending on humidity and storage, you may need to toast the slice to bring back the freshness. If you aren't going to eat the loaf within 2 days, please request for your loaf to be sliced. Upon delivery you can freeze it immediately and pull out slices to toast as desired.

Best way to store baked goods

Sourdough: We recommend keeping the bread in the bags they arrive in. Once the sourdough has been sliced, store it face down in the bag. This prevents air to get into the product making it go stale quicker. Pastries: If you aren't going to eat them within the first day, please store them in an airtight container and put into the freezer. Heat up oven to 350 c and put the frozen pastries in for 5 - 7 minutes. Let cool before eating.
